\u2013 The <strong>RESILIA Summit 2026<\/strong>, organized by <strong>Edwards<\/strong>, was successfully held at the <strong>Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai, Bangkok<\/strong>, bringing together approximately <strong>200 physicians from across the Asia-Pacific region<\/strong>, along with Edwards representatives and cardiovascular specialists from leading hospitals.<\/p>\n<p>The scientific meeting provided an opportunity for healthcare professionals to learn about the latest advances in heart valve treatment and exchange clinical experience and evidence related to <strong>Edwards\u2019 RESILIA tissue technology<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>One of the key highlights of the summit was the presentation of <strong>10-year follow-up data from the COMMENCE clinical trial<\/strong>, providing trial provides valuable long-term evidence supporting the performance of RESILIA in the treatment of patients with aortic stenosis.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">After 10 years of follow-up, patients treated with Edwards surgical valves featuring RESILIA tissue demonstrated positive outcomes:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><strong>97.9%<\/strong> of patients remained free from valve-related death or stroke.<\/li>\n<li><strong>97.8%<\/strong> remained free from reoperation due to <strong>Structural Valve Deterioration (SVD)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>98.6%<\/strong> remained free from <strong>structural paravalvular leak (PVL)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Hemodynamic performance remained stable over time, including <strong>mean transvalvular gradient and effective orifice area<\/strong>, demonstrating sustained valve performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Long-term valve durability is an important consideration in reducing the potential need for repeat intervention or reoperation and in supporting patients\u2019 long-term quality of life.<\/p>\n<h3>Strengthening Clinical Exchange and Regional Collaboration<\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Beyond the presentation of the latest clinical evidence, <strong>RESILIA Summit 2026<\/strong> provided a valuable platform for physicians and cardiovascular specialists across
