On the morning of August 16, 2025, the Hanoi Cardiovascular Association and Hanoi Heart Hospital organized the Hanoi International Cardiovascular Conference 2025 at the Intercontinental Hanoi Landmark 72 Hotel (Keangnam Landmark Building, Pham Hung, Hanoi). Prof. Dr. Tran Van Thuan, Deputy Minister of Health, Chairman of the National Medical Council attended and delivered a welcome speech.

The event is expected to gather more than 2,000 delegates including Professors, Doctors, Pharmacists, Nurses and leading experts in the field of cardiology from Vietnam and internationally.

Overview of the conference

The conference is an opportunity to:

  • Exchange experiences between experts on new methods and technologies in cardiovascular treatment
  • Introduce outstanding research and cardiovascular care practices
  • Development orientation in cardiovascular disease research and treatment
Deputy Minister of Health Tran Van Thuan informed about cardiovascular disease, one of the leading causes of death in the world as well as in Vietnam.

With the theme “Connect Cardiology Community”, the conference included 40 sessions and 232 reports by Professors, Doctors, and leading physicians in the field of cardiology domestically and internationally. The conference took place with many related topics and satellite seminars such as “Strategies in surgical treatment of Barlow’s mitral valve regurgitation” with Professors, Doctors, and Physicians domestically and internationally.

The conference focused on topics such as: Artificial Intelligence in Cardiology; Endovascular Interventions for Peripheral Vascular; Hypertension and Kidney Disease; From Aorta to Aortic Valve; Update on Cardiomyopathy; Infections and Nutrition in Cardiovascular Disease; The Role of Nursing in Cardiovascular Care; New Techniques and Technologies in Coronary Interventions.
